I would suggest some mylecon (gas drops) and infant tylenol. Plus lots of batteries for his toys and a screwdriver for the battery plates. For yourself in the hospital I would recommend you bring some shower gel and lotion in your favorite scent, because you'll feel pretty gross the first day or so. Otherwise it sounds like you are all set--enjoy him!
