Gold, why is it not naturally reappearing like other precious metal..?

I concur with answers 1 + 2, and I'd like to add that all of the precious metals (Au, Ag, Pt, Pd, etc) were created as part of the Big Bang. Their total amounts on Earth have been constant for billions of years, its only the concentrations that change due to various geological processes.
