Is he crazy or just confused?

I've worked with this married man for nearly 2 years and have always found him creepy. He would stare at me but never talk to me and my sister saw him staring at my myspace pic (she works there too) Well our company went white water rafting and I pushed him out of the raft. Then began the flirting and teasing right at out job. Then he took me to the side one day and told me he was having dreams of me. I decided to see exactly where he was going and agreed to after work meetings. He was completely infatuated and obsessed with me. He told me I was his soulmate and honestly we did click. We could talk about anything. In short I told him if he wanted to keep this going he would have to get a divorce. I offered him 6 months but he did it in a week so I agreed to move in with him. We had a month of bliss. I wanted to wait a few years to get married and he couldn't wait. He set a date for this year. Then a few days ago he insisted to look at engagement rings. Okay, so then two days later he starts sobbing and says he needs to go home so he packs all his stuff and leaves saying he couldn't stop loving me,,,yeah she took him back. Okay, I'm fine and yeah it hurt but i will move on. But the next day I see him and he says he has no love at all anymore for me and he doesn't know why. Now he's telling everyone that he nearly killed himself because of what he did to his family. So I wouldn't think anything of it until he drove past our apartment yesterday. He doesn't know anyone in that neighborhood and he was looking right at me. Is he crazy? Should I be worried.
