Do Jews still condone the Rabi sucking blood from the babies fresh circision wound with his mouth?

Most have given it up (but shame they still circise) though some orthodox Jews still do. I think it's disgusting and they should really stop it. I can't believe it's not banned. Babies have DIED from that (from transference) or become brain damaged. Some guy with the last name Apple wrote about this because his son died. is very dangerous for an infant. The NY issued guidelines for the practice of this recommending antiseptic and the like I feel are just silly - they are so scared of seeming anti-Semitic that it's still allowed, when really it should be banned, and IMHO all infant circision.
