You don't say where you live now, but it would be best to do research before you accept the job, their culture and lifestyle may not be what you are accustomed to. You can always accept and try it out for a few months, see how you fare, you can always find another job if this one does not work out but again, it all depends on where you live now in proximity to Syria, if it's halfway around the world from you, then you need to be very careful, if it isn't very far, the give it a try.
