Can a lace up back on a wedding dress still work with a side zip?

Most of the dresses I know(albeit not for the bride but for the bridesmaid) had the invisible zip and the lace up back. The zip made it so easy and so much better to get in. And it helped keep the dress in place while the laces at the back were being adjusted for me. It helps. Believe me. And it doesn't detract from the style of the dress because no one will know a zip is there unless they saw u zipping it or if they were helping u with it
