I finally got rid of my iguana mites??

so my iguana had about 2 tiny little red mites on it the size of a pin head...i noticed them a couple of days ago i cleaned his aquarium with bleach water solution then soap and water...then cleaned with strait hot water about 4 times...i sprayed everything the aquarium was touching with bleach water solution..then with soapy water..then hot water..including all of the fake plants in the aqarium and the light fixtures..are they gone now?? or will they come back in a day or so...or even at all? I HOPE NOT...!! i have also given vaseline bath..covered him with vas. then soaked him for half hour..i have done this abut 4 times a day..he seems to be a lot more energetic and "playful" i guess is a word i could use...he is eating and defecating better..let me know what you think
