Is Creationism theory childish?

You shouldn't dignify creationism with the word "theory". At best, it is a hypothesis, and a poor one. Yes, belief in the Genesis story as literal truth is indeed childish. It is a myth created by unscientific people, for unscientific people. I do not mean to say that it therefore has no value - myths have some worth, but are not meant to be taken literally.
